I just figured it out. We needed a 1 run win to make up ground on Pythagoras.

Osuna gets the last out but why start the ninth with McHugh.  Deetz is sitting over there and if you are going to start the inning with someone other than Elvis why not him.  Figure out what you got there.  We know what McHugh does.

I think the magic is gone with McHugh. He’s good in a pinch, but he’s not a typical stopper like the numbers say.

We have three games left with Seattle, LAA, Toronto, and four games with the O's.  That should be 9 wins minimum in my little head.  That would be 103 wins and an all time record I think for the Astros.

McHugh has control issues lately. So does Peacock. I wonder who AJ leaves off the post season roster on the pitching staff? Devo is one. Not sure Valdez makes it.

Another hitless game for Correa.....Heard TK mention that Carlos had 3 extra base hits in his last 115 at bats........not good for a middle of the order bat.  From watchng him swing< it hink his back is still not 100%.  No way is he as bad a hitter as he looks.  Since we need his glove, bat him 8th or 9th.

Great job by Verlander and Pressley.  Game made close by not skipping McHugh and going straight  to Osuna.

That' s what I get for trusting a bsd source.  I don't dislike Correa......just very puzzled by how a guy with his talent can look so bad unless he is still injured or something else is wrong.  We have not seen the version of Correa this season that we got last year....There is a reason for it somewhere and it's not that he has lost the abillity to hit.

I can't believe they gave Correa a hit on that dropped popup when he ended up on third base. Nice of the home official scorer.

Framber Valdez gets another start against the Mariners who are pitching Leblanc. After being swept in 4 games the last time the Mariners wsre here, we should have a little revenge motive.
