It was nice of the Mariners that out of their entire team, only Robinson Cano came to the park ready to play ball.

I think the Mariners will wind up with around 89-90 wins this year. Most years that would get you into the playoffs but this year it will most likely only get them to 6th place.

A's just put up a 4 spot on the Angels.
Great job by our pitchers......especially James. As much as I bash Will Harris, he did a great job tonight. Offense put up plenty of runs even with Mr. Wonderful Correa having another O-fer. Tucker pinch hits for him and drives in a run. However, I think Kyle got the AB since AJ had decided to clear the bench. Big hits from Marwin, McCann, and Kemp. Bregman looks tired and is reaching at the plate. I think it would be a good time to give him the day off tomorrow so he would get two days before the Angels series.
AJ didn't come right out and say it,but you can pretty well bet that Josh James will be on the playoff roster. If McCullers is healthy, having those two guys to come out of the pen with Pressley and Osuna, should give us an edge in any series.
