The A’s were kind of screwed by the umpires last night. Before the Angels started their 6-run inning, Simmons hit a fly ball that definitely would’ve been caught by Piscotty for a sacrifice fly with the bases loaded had a fan not gotten in the way with her glove. After review, the call remained that of no interference (fan was still escorted out) and play resumed.
What followed was a 2-run single, a HBP, and a grand slam.

Per Rotoworld...Carlos Correa not in the Astros lineup tonight. Gonzalez playing SS.

He has never swung the bat with authority since coming off the DL I saw the lineup and I like it from a defensive standpoint. Our best defensive OF.......Reddick Jake, George from left to right. Maldonado catching. And our weakest bat.........Correa........on the bench, |

Is Gonzales' arm just so weak that he can not play third effectively. I really do not like him at SS

Is Gonzales' arm just so weak that he can not play third effectively. I really do not like him at SS I don't think his arm is weak. Could be they just want to keep Bregman at 3B. I think Bregman needs a day off. |
