Hinch does another great job of putting a weak defensive outfield together. At least, he puts Gattis back on the bench where he belongs. No way in hell does Kemp make the plays Jake made last night. Put Kemp in LF, Jake in CF, and George in RF.

Kemp and White are the third- and fourth-hottest hitters for the Astros this month. I think Hinch wants to go with an offense-heavy lineup to start the game today and then if the team can take a lead by the 7th inning or so, we will see him go to Marisnick and a more defensive-heavy outfield.

Marwin should be sitting by Gattis tonight with Kemp in left.....Kemp is NO centerfielder. |

with James cruising like this, do you let him pitch the 6th? I would. He's at 80 pitches and I think Hinch is reluctant to push the rookies past that point, but I'd let him pitch till he reaches 100 pitches or gives up a run, whichever comes first.

James with the 2.81 ERA in his young career, Framber down around 2.20 I think. Not bad for a couple minor league call-ups.

The score is looking good, but 7 hits in the last 15 innings against a team with no playoff hopes is pretty underwhelming.
