Pitchers Corbin Martin, Cionel Perez, and Rogelio Armenteros all looking really good over the past week. Maybe C Perez is the postseason LOOGY we've been waiting for.

From games played Sunday, May 20 ( sorry I’m so late with this. Internet has been down since yesterday afternoon):
AAA - Fresno 7 El Paso 2 Jake Marisnick CF: 2-5, 1 3B, 1 K, BA .278....threw a runner out at home. A - Beloit 3 Quad Cities 2 Ruben Castro 2B: 1-3, 1 3B, BA .235 Miguelangel Sierra SS: 2-4, 1 2B, BA .300....stole a base(1)..., I’m wondering if something has suddenly clicked for this guy. He batted .140 in 25 games at Short Season A Tri-City in 2016 and .178 at Tri-City in 57 games in 2017. He went 1-12 in his first three games this season, but has gone 11-28 in his last 7 games with multiple hits in 5 of those games. He is just 20 years old so there is plenty time for him to develop. I'm with Bortaz,
if Marisnick succeeds, let him be a coach for the Valley Cats.

If any of you are wondering why you are not seeing Garrett Stubbs’ name in the Fresno results lately, he is on the DL. The last game he played was on May 9 and in that game he went 2-5 with a double and a triple. He was replaced by a pinch runner in that game after he doubled in the 8th inning. I haven’t been able to find anything concerning the nature of his injury, but I am guessing it might be a hamstring issue. He spent time on the DL in 2017 with a hamstring issue.
At the time he went on the DL he was batting .358. He has thrown out 7 of 14 runners attempting to steal on him.

Straw already with 9 outfield assists. Dumb base running or a damn fine arm, either way that is a crazy pace. Throwing out 1 runner every 4.66 games is a pretty fair piece of work.

I asked one and nobody responded so maybe nobody cares, but I figured I would ask one more time:
Does anybody think it would be beneficial to have a thread for each team to make it a little easier to follow?

For comparison..., in his minor league career Jake Marisnick had/has 34 outfield assists in 462 games played. Reddick had 63 outfield assists in 461 minor league games. Springer had 11 outfield assists in 275 minor league games. Straw has 43 outfield assists in 293 games played.

So Straw has stepped up the pace this year but has demonstrated a strong accurate arm at every level. That is something that we know translates to the majors, not the % but the arm strength is independent to level. Whose are would you compare him to?

I just looked up the record for most outfield assists in a season and the record is 19. Straw already has 9 and it is still May.

Off the top of my head I don’t know who I would compare him to. I find it pretty impressive that Straw is ahead of the pace of Reddick, Marisnick and Springer when it comes to number of games played in the minor leagues per outfield assist.

For some it would help and for others, it would just mean more navigation time. So it depends.

I was just thinking from an organizational stand point. If somebody had interest in a particular team or player without having to sort through every team.

thread is part of a category with three other threads. You could always start one about a specific team or player

I was just thinking from an organizational stand point. If somebody had interest in a particular team or player without having to sort through every team. If someone is just interested in one minor league team or one particular prospect, it is simple enough to just go to the website of the minor league team that they are interested in. I just go to the websites of all our minor league teams from Full Season A through AAA each day and post results from all the teams’ box scores in one thread. If someone sees something of interest in the results I post, we discuss it.
