I'm not sure why I made this deal when I don't benefit if I win No "4th outfielder", hitting under .150, should be starting 3 out of every 5 games. Jake started all the time...sucked every game...was criticized. A totally rational response to his actions. |

I'll be happy if the Jake-bashing stops if you win. It's not that it's unjustified so much as it's monotonous. Never has a 4th OF gotten so much flak. I'd probably empathize if he was Richard Hidalgo and making 8 figures a season, but he isn't No "4th outfielder", hitting under .150, should be starting 3 out of every 5 games. Jake started all the time...sucked every game...was criticized. A totally rational response to his actions. I wonder what our winning percentage was while Marisnick was in the minors. |
