The Orioles turned a DP in the bottom of the 12th that was a thing of beauty.

Fans in the stands said Springer was limping after running to first, and that's why he exited the game. Hope it's nothing serious but... if George had to be out for 10 days or more, it might put some pressure on the organization to call up Tucker sooner. Tony Kemp is the only other AAA player who could easily cover Springer's position. Kemp has the virtue of low strikeout rate (like nearly Altuve low) but he makes a lot of weak contact and has difficulty reaching base at the big league level. Ted, on the other hand... Springer did appear to slow up a bit before he got to first and he appeared to have a concerned look on his face as he walked back to the base. George out for 10 days or not, I still don’t think we will see Tucker before mid-June after the point for qualifying for Super Two has passed. AJ said in the post game that George should probably have kept playing and he plans to DH him tomorrow in Minnesota

Ohtani perfect through 6 and has thrown 75 pitches. Does Scioscia let him finish it?

Now Ohtani hit Lowrie with a pitch on 3-0 count. Time to send him to the showers with the 6-0 lead.

Well if you are going to hit someone it is better to hit a guy with a 3-0 count versus a guy with an 0-2 count. He does seem to be running out of gas. It will be interesting to see how long he can continue to hit home runs and throw shutout innings. So far he is living up to the hype.

Dodgers are going to have to win it in extras to avoid slipping to 2-7.

Ohtani looking good today, maybe a little too good. 4 innings no runs and 7ks. Now that we know Ohtani has the A's number, lets see what he does with the rest of the league.

Peacock looked down right scared when they asked about his closing role during the post game, ahaha.

Peacock looked down right scared when they asked about his closing role during the post game, ahaha. I thought it was a douchbag question to ask a player about taking the job of a teammate.

Hopefully, Giles can use this to motivate him like when he whined about Gregerson.
