Today the Padres put Tyson Ross on the mound, someone who had been with their team for several years before going to the Rangers. He got injured up in Arlington and had to have thoracic outlet surgery in late 2016. Now he is a "comeback" pitcher. He had an encouraging start his first time around this year... will the Astros bats show a bit more life today? Maybe a lot more life? Let's see...

I tuned in late and they were saying something about Ross's velocity but I couldn't quite catch it. Last week it was surprisingly high compared to previous years.
The key today will be limiting strikeouts to 7 max.
