What continues to impress me about this team is the way our stars seem to step up the majority of the time in the postseason. As much as I loved Bagwell and Biggio they had quite limited success as "The Guys" in the postseason. I know they were going up mostly against a HoF rotation in the Braves, but the results were what they were.
Bregman, Altuve, Correa, Gurriel, and Springer all have career OPS's over .800 in the postseason with good power. Springer and Altuve are already our top-2 HR leaders in franchise history.
Springer especially. I know he had a down year (still a good year) but I think he is again showing how vital he is to this team. I think he is worthy of an extension this offseason. Health would be the biggest detractor, but he has averaged 124 Games with 24 HR and 87 Runs with an .824 OPS as an Astro and his postseason numbers (OPS over 1.000 while hitting .294) are fantastic. And I think we all believe this team is at least a playoff caliber team, if not more, for another couple of seasons which means we'll need his production.

Saw where Holt of the BoSox became the first player in 118 years of post season play to hit for the cycle.
As many games that have been played in that timeframe, hard to believe that it has never happened.

Are you going to leave it in the shrink wrap like a collector, or haul it to the bathroom. While I am a collector, I only have 3 or 4 that I didn't open and read. 1. Autographed memoirs of Ronaldus Maximus Reaganus. It was a limited edition (1500 or something), purpleish blue leather autographed volume sold to fund his Presidential Library, came in an oak chest, and contained a tray full of cassette tapes of all of his major presidential speeches. It's priceless to me. This one isn't mine, but it's the same thing...on sale now on eBay for $4000. 2. Signed set of World in Crisis (6 volumes), by Winston Churchill. Again, priceless to me, but probably worth $8-10k 3. Statecraft, signed by Henry Kissinger. 4. 3-volume set of The Civil War, by Shelby Foote. Autographed. All leather, and beautiful.

Very nice collection. My expensive dalliance is art. Though I have slowed down due to wall space, I do want to someday secure an authentic Bierstadt.

I started unwrapping most of my books and reading them when I started getting old and realized my grandkids don't give a shit about them and will just sell them on eBay when I die anyway.

Arizona announced that they'll be open to trading Grienke and Goldy this offseason, as they're going to rebuild.
Any interest in either of them?

We'd have the greatest MLB infield of all time. Bregman - Correa- Altuve- Goldschmidt. Wow...just wow. Question is how expensive would it be?

I don't see how you afford Goldy and keep our core together. Somebody would likely have to go.
