Read an article that if Springer hits a HR today he will tie the MLB record for most conseciitve games hitting a post season HR. Wonder if anyone is going to wager any beer on that prop.  |

It looks like the game on the diamond and the game of dirty politics will be played at the same time.
Right now sanctimonious Senators are bloviating about things they don't believe in for a second to justify a purely partisan political stance about the one branch of government which should be above the fray.
But both games will be over with and we can move on to the next game regardless of today's outcome.
