What might the starting lineups look like?
Astros: Manager AJ Hinch has already said Brian McCann will start at catcher instead of Martin Maldonado, and Tony Kemp might get his first start in the outfield, as well, facing another right-hander. Carlos Correa (0-for-7) is likely to stay in the lineup because of his defense with hopes that his bat will come around.
1. George Springer, CF
2. Jose Altuve, 2B
3. Alex Bregman, 3B
4. Yuli Gurriel, 1B
5. Marwin Gonzalez, LF
6. Carlos Correa, SS
7. Tyler White, DH
8. Josh Reddick, RF

I had forgotten that Sipp used to pitch for the Indians. Cleveland fans are wanting him back, given the state of their pen! A lot of playoff teams would love to have the guys who didn't make our playoff roster. We're really deep. |

Anyone else feel like Hinch is managing for a sweep and additional rest? Obviously you play to win, but he’s already used Pressly and Osuna both games for multiple innings.

I disagreed with using Osuna in Game 1. Not with that kind of lead.
Today, a good pitching game plan might be:
Keuchel - 80 pitches / est. 4 innings, maybe he gets in 5 within that pitch count
James - 3 innings or 50 pitches, whichever comes first
McCullers - final 1-2 innings
Sipp could do a situational lefty thing if the need arises

I'm just hoping Altuve's knee is as good this morning as it was after the game. Otherwise, we could see Kemp at 2B with the usual outfield of Marwin, Springer and Reddick.
I'd really like to see Keuchel with his 2015 control today.

I see Altuve is good to go and Kemp is in for White, though White has had success against righties.
I'm surprised to see Kemp in as DH -- he can be a spark plug and all, but White had 2 singles, a double, 2 walks and a HBP for a total of 6 times getting on base in (I think it was) 8 attempts in the first two games. Kemp is good but I don't think he'll be beating that OBP any time soon. |

I like using Kemp as DH today. I would not have liked having him in the OF. I expected McCann and that is a good move. I think we finish this today so we can rest while the Yankees and Red Sox beat on each other.
