Hinch had plenty of time to see Cole needed to be pulled. It wasn’t like yesterday when Verlander struggled out of nowhere. JV had some control problems and had some lucky ding hits off him. OTOH..Cole is throwing bp. |

No need to pull the starter until he blows the lead. Besides, you can’t be too hasty to pull the starter when you only have 8 arms in the bullpen. - AJ |

It’s just very frustrating to finally hit Price, and the lead is surrendered within 2 outs of getting it. Jackie Bradley, Jr. is not supposed to beat Gerrit Cole like that.
