Don't let them celebrate on our field.

I think we take tonight's game, but, we have a big uphill battle to win two in Boston. Other than Verlander, our pitching has really let us down in this series.

I think we take tonight's game, but, we have a big uphill battle to win two in Boston. Other than Verlander, our pitching has really let us down in this series. Hinch just needs to stop putting so much on certain players like James and on bringing in others in bases loaded situations. Also, if I were him, I’ve seen enough of Tyler White. I’d bat Altuve at leadoff due to his injury (less reliance on him having to be The Guy). Bregman can bat second or third. It’s time to move Correa up and Gurriel down. I know Hinch is trying to avoid having too top heavy of a lineup, but Marwin and Gurriel aren’t getting it done. Hinch needs a MUCH quicker leash with the pitchers. No time to mess around anymore. Other than that, it’s up to Jesus. Good luck to them; I may throw up a prayer before the game.

I'd say the chance of winning both G6 & G7, is in the neighborhood of 1-5% So you're saying there's a chance? Heck the Red Sox came back from 3-0 a while back. Anything can happen, Another poster mentioned the magic was gone......... I kind of like the Baseball gods moniker. If we can somehow get them back on our side, and the breaks fall our way?..... Who knows. I really think we will win tonight with JV on the mound. Add the fact we were the best road team in MLB, and that 2 game winning streaks aren't rare. Again... Who knows. Fan Graphs has it at 13.5%. Too me that hasn't been updated, or they are overly generous.

Too me that hasn't been updated, or they are overly generous. There is a chance. It will be a struggle, but, it can be done. Hinch and his misuse of the pitching staff dug this hole. Bringing in McCullers with the bases loaded is asking for trouble and we got it. He stayed with James until he was worn out...result another Bradley home run. He should have used Gattis to pinch hit instead of White, who was afraid to swing the bat so he stood there like a fool and got called out on strikes with the tying runs in scoring position. Kemp has made two horrible mental errors that have cost us....swinging 3-0 leading off an inning and then going for two on Betts' arm. All of this is why we are down 3-1 plus Cole being left in to blow the lead in game 2.

I don't know what the hell happened, but AJ needs to take a look pre-game at his stuff, and be prepared to switch.

Win today. Worry about the next game later. I think Cora has done a better job of that so far.

I definitely give the Astros the advantage this game based on home field and pitching matchup.
Game 6, with Sale just getting out of the hospital, I'd give the Astros the advantage too. If both those games go our way, then of course it comes down to one game and one game only. And that could go either way but each team probably would have at least 40% odds.
I seem to recall the Astros didn't have a cake walk in their last ALCS either and it still ended up just fine.

Soooo, the failed experiement of Bregman in the leadoff wasn't enough. Now Marisnick is in the lineup in front of him (technically)? Might as well sit Altuve and rest him for next year then.

If they have any heart they will give their best effort and win or go down battling. If not, they will go through the motions and go out with a whimper.

That was roof interference. Mookie should be on first base

Bortaz must be rolling over in his grave with Marisnick starting.
