Great game yesterday. I was driving back from Austin as the game went on and pulling up an app that shows the box score. When we got the two walks and Springer was coming up I thought this was a spot that if the Springer of 17 was up he would jack one. 20 minutes later when I stopped at the next light and pulled it back up again I said hell yeah. The only real downside to yesterday was Bregman seemed to be pressing. He just needs to relax and let it come to him. Maybe the pressure of hitting in the 3 hole is causing him to press. If he is not ready for it maybe flip him and Jose and let that run a while.

That was a nice clean win. Bregman will be fine and Diaz will come around. It was good to see White get a hit in there at the end for his own confidence level. Everybody else looked spot on. Verlander just continues to be impressive, and seeing Altuve start off quick with some power was comforting to see.
Hopefully we get a little more successful with our basestealing soon, haha.

Now, if he struggles, will he let that get to him or will he bounce back fine? He seems to have plenty of confidence, but struggling can lead to frustration which can lead to bad habits and changing approaches. |
