I could live with that opening day lineup. Might be tempted to swap Chirinos for Stassi on OD. It should be decided on the opening day pitcher and how comfortable they are with each catcher. |

Maybe he traded Brantley for Castellanos. The only differences are Castellanos has one year of control instead of two and Brantley is a much needed left handed bat. |

So you're benching Brantley? snell is left handed, Straw come out against right handed guys. I hadn't realized Brantley performed so poorly against lefties (66 OPS+), so a platoon situation might be best for him. Just leave him in against righties with his 141 OPS+ against righties and he looks even better than his overall OPS+ would indicate.
I haven't checked Straw or Tucker against lefties.
Is there a place to find out their minor league splits since their MLB splits are so limited they may not even have an AB against a lefty?
