Can you some team just sign him now, so the Astros can get draft compensation.

How much has the Kuechel situation driven down the value of Boras representation. Keuchel was convinced he'd get Darvish's deal

If the Brewers don’t get some middle relief, Hader’s arm Will fall off.

Keuchel would do well in the NL. Let's get that draft pick!

Box score from Seattle today is an interesting read. 8 relievers (4 from each side) combined to throw a whopping 3.1 innings in relief. That sure did sell some extra advertising... Throwing Diaz into the trade with the Mets, is going to haunt the M's this season. In Philly last night he K'd the meat of the order last night.

Adams from mlbtraderumors considers Stassi a premium framer with power.

I really starting to like Bumgarner to the Astros at the trade deadline....
I wonder what 3 months of him will cost in terms of prospects. One top 10, and two too 20? Or that is not even close.

Stassi has gotten close to a couple bombs lately. Have to be patient.
I do think they need to tell him to be more aggressive though. I'd trade 30 points of OBP from him for double digits HRs.

Stassi not so much but Stubbs is at least showing a good OBP...

What do you think about Morton to the closer role? Sherwin, then I thought he would dominate as a closer. the proof in the pudding came game 7. Morton's stuff is better than Verlander's or Cole's...his big issues were injury proneness and becoming hittable as the game wore on... Also, I I think it would extend his career, the next Smoltz

What do you think about Morton to the closer role? My idea gained steam back when Uncle Charlie couldn’t go five innings.

The Darvish contract and his performance are a good reason why teams considering Dallas are most likely looking the other way. In the situation that the Cubs decided to take Darvish over resigning Arrieta is probably haunting them to this day. Just think after the WS the Stros were actually considering offering this dude a contract.

Else we'd be stuck with Maldonado
