how big is a suite. Also ceilings have to be 9' or better. On 2nd thought: Leave her at home and go enjoy yourself.

glad you enjoyed it. I do not think there are any cruises in my future. My wife requires big rooms or she gets claustrophobic. Anything smaller than a 12x12 and her hair gets on fire. Never been on one of those ships but my understanding is that the cabins are not that large. I think our balcony room was 10’ X 14’. I'm thinking the ceiling height is 8’.

Just think how much money you would have saved if you just had married a midget Your assumption is that I did not. Does 5'2" qualify?

I think our balcony room was 10’ X 14’. I'm thinking the ceiling height is 8’. That might work. did it have a large window Absolutely. The entire wall on the ocean side of the room is glass. Sliding glass door like a patio door out onto the balcony. When you walk inside the room from the hallway the room is 10’ wide left to right and 14’ long. If the curtains are not drawn it is like you are looking out a 8’ high 10’ wide window on the balcony end of the room. If she gets to feeling enclosed, she can step out onto the balcony. The elevators in our ship were enclosed in glass so you can see out and don’t feel enclosed. The only place she might feel enclosed would be in the hallway leading to the room.

I used to post there too. I'd post on the thread for my particular sailing. Great way to get updated info and info regarding the ports of call and excursions.

Brandon Bielak had another good start for Round Rock today. 7 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 9 K. Looks like he has turned things around. In his first 3 starts at AAA he allowed 17 ER on 18 hits in 11.2 IP. In his last 2 starts he has allowed just 1 ER on 4 hits in 13 IP.

Hey olpapa, what do you know about Colin McKee? I found this assessment of him which was posted at Crawfish Boxes shortly after he was drafted in round 18 of the 2016 draft: “McKee is a pre-med student and has a 3.7 GPA, so he’s very smart as well as a good athlete. His fastball tops out at 94 MPH and has a four-pitch mix with his slider really coming on over the last year to become his go-to out pitch. He lead the team in innings (94) and strikeouts (141). You read that right. 1-4-1! That’s a 13.5 SO/9. He also had a 3.26 BB/9 so there is some control issues. The Redshirt Junior had a 1.82 ERA. Great season, even if it is Div. II. -Brook” Looking at his numbers this year, it seems that the above comments still hold true. He Ks a lot of batters, doesn’t give up a lot of hits, but walks too many as well. He is having a heckuva year at Corpus.

Do we have any freaking 1B prospects with any real potential? Alvarez this upcoming off-season will hopefully get a lot of time at 1B.

Do we have any freaking 1B prospects with any real potential? I don’t think so, which is why those José Abreu rumors persist annually.
