When everyone is healthy we have a very interesting problem is wonder boy keeps it up. He seems a natural at 4 but who is 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. The line up I like is Altuve, Brantley, Bregman, Alvarez, Springer, Correa, Reddick, Chirinos, and somebody new.

Not much to cheer about last night,
Round Rock lost and Tucker was 0-4 but he did show that he might be able to fit right into our line up as he did ground into a double play.
In Corpus Christi the only real good news was Bukauskas was on his game last nigh with 7 strikeouts in 5 innings of work. He allowed 2 earned runs and received a no decision.
Corey Lee got his first two hits as a pro last night. He went 2-4 with two singles in his second start.

Some better efforts down on the farm yesterday,
Urquidy continues to look interesting and has a 3.22 or so era in the PCL. That is really quite good comparatively.
Jones has his average up to the 290s and is a first baseman. Makes you wonder if that average and power is transferable.
Quintana is now hitting in the 270s and reasonable skills behind the plate.
Springer had two dingers in his first rehab start. Come on home son we need you.
Beer put up a stout effort with two home runs of his own.
Javier struck out 10 in 5 innings and did not allow a run. This is a guy I think we should keep an eye on if he can stay healthy.
In Tri City the baby Astros had some notable efforts,
Our #1 pick now has his average over 300 so that is good to see.
Stubbs the younger hit his first dinger.
Perez, the guy we drafted a few years ago and everyone thought would be so good but was always injured is finally getting some at bats and had a home run last night.

Nick Tanielu is still on a tear at Round Rock. He has hit in 16 of his last 17 games. In the month of June he is batting.409 with a OPS of 1.306; 6 home runs, 3 triples and 6 doubles in 66 ABs.

Tucker had 2 doubles last night and 3 hits total in 4 at bats bringing his average up to 287. Pretty good after the start he had.
Ferguson also had three hits and stole 2 bases. He is looking pretty solid this year. '
Smith struck out all three guys he faced in a rehab outing.
McHugh managed to not give up a run this time and the Express won 3-0.
Toro and Dawson each hit a home run and the Hooks won as well.
Korie Lee had 3 hits last night in 4 at bats and now is hitting 417.
Little Stubbs got his second home run last night as well and Tri-City won 3-2.

Yes. Good weather. Beautiful scenery. Great ship. Not too much rain? See any wildlife? Had a little light rain occasionally, but not bad. The majority of the passengers were 50+ years old...., not much wildlife. |

Temperatures between mid-40s and mid-60s. Very little fog or rain. The stretch of cruise from the fiord approaching Dawes glacier through the exit from Skagway is like one continuous post pard picture. Words just can’t describe it. So glad we chose Alaska for our first cruise. |

glad you enjoyed it. I do not think there are any cruises in my future. My wife requires big rooms or she gets claustrophobic. Anything smaller than a 12x12 and her hair gets on fire. Never been on one of those ships but my understanding is that the cabins are not that large.
