13-8 .619 Winning Percentage (On pace for 100 Wins) 4th in run differential at +20 1 game behind Seattle for the division 1 game behind Seattle for the AL Team OPS+: 125 Team ERA+: 123
Peacock vs. Odorizzi
The Twins have played pretty well so far this year. Their pitching has not been great but their offense is keeping them in games. They're getting really good production from Polanco, Rosario, and Cruz.
On the plus side, even though the Astros lost the last two games, they had some bad luck and had some bad mental errors that aren't representative of who they normally are. The offense still averaged 7 runs per game over the series, including showing some good late fire yesterday. They appear to be a streaky team so far this year, so hopefully a fresh start at home again will start them on another winning streak.
You gotta let him fly!

Most of our guys haven't seen much of Odorizzi. Altuve has had good success in 13 ABs. Hopefully he'll get back to his normal approach at the plate...

I’m not at all concerned about Seattle. They are 0-6 vs teams that are .500 or better. I'm only concerned with the Astros.

There will be a video tribute to Marwin pre-game on the jumbovision I'm glad we're not paying him $21 million though. He's hitting worse than White. I think some people were saying we should offer him a 3-year deal for more than that. Yikes!

In theory, it's our best potential offensive lineup today. Plus, we get to see not only our old friend Lazy Gonzalez, but also Jason Castro.

They gave Bregman an error on the Cruz grounder. That’s not an error.
And now a two-run double.
