It's odd Yuli gets a break from the fans even though he makes 8 figures and he can't hit or field and is probably 37 years old. He's still living off his grand slam off Clayton Kershaw in Game 5 in their starry eyes even though he's barely been above replacement-level the 19 months since But...RBIs. But...(insert White’s accomplishment).

It's all about use. None of our roleplayers offer a ton or value. That's why they're roleplayers. All I'm trying to get at, is before we give up on them, let's give them a chance after their success last year. Once we give up on them, that potential depth is likely gone. Then we're reliant on unproven prospects. Agreed, like I said neither are starters. We disagree on value. I just think one has more value and should be kept. I think it’s unfair for one to languish in AAA while the other who has done nothing to warrant having a job keeps getting his chances. He has 4 doubles, 2 RBI, and 0 homers. For all the talk of his power potential, he has a slugging percentage lower than his on-base percentage. His weight gain is also a reflection on his effort and team dedication. White does like his lil Debi cakes and Dr Pepper

I'd happily take a double play here with a run scoring at this point.

But...(insert White’s accomplishment). I'll help you, "But... 113 OPS+ before 2019 while making less than $600K a year." That's worth more than 16 starts before dropping him.

That seems fair.
