Kemp to Gurriel. Welcome back to 2B, Tony. I hope Díaz is alright.

Taking a look at which pitchers we might see after Porcello...
Boston had an off day yesterday, so all their relievers are rested.
Marcus Walden and Matt Barnes have been especially hot for the BoSox this season.
Josh Smith and Colton Brewer are two relievers who haven't pitched in 5 days, so Cora might try to find a way to get them some work in tonight.
Besides those guys, they have Ryan Brasier, Tyler Thornburg, and Heath Hembree, all decent but not spectacular bullpen choices, available tonight.

Cole isn’t throwing enough strikes tonight.

Hinch's reluctance to start Kemp at 2B is like his reluctance to start Gattis at catcher

The double by Bogaerts was likely a result of his falling behind.

Cole is currently on pace for 317 Ks. That would be the most since Randy Johnson in 2002 when he had 334 (and 372 the year prior). However his k/9 IP is an even more impressive 13.9. The single season record is 13.2 by Pedro Martinez. If he gets even close to that record you can be damn sure he's going to make a fortune as a free agent. The better Cole does the less likely he'll be back next season. Since Big Unit 20 seasons ago I can't think of a starter for us who resembles that
