Maybe he is Bortaz' hero, too. I think you took the wrong medication tonight, pops...let's not get crazy. He responded well to this scenario, but he's still a shitty baseball player. Next week, he'll be back to striking out with the bases loaded. Here is your answer, Unionstation........the guy who doesn't recognize talent proves it again, Bortaz, go in the cluhhouse and ask for opinions on Jake.

What makes you think their opinion is any more valid than anyone else? And, again...asking his friends isn't going to get you an honest response.

Marisnick is almost playing as well as he did in 2017 when he had a career year. Let's hope he doesn't get ___beaten by geriactric clowns_______ before the postseason this time. Fill in the blank.

Jake is who he has always been. A very good defensive 4th OFer who has decent power and speed but very weak on base skills the majority of the time. As long as he is low on cost he has pretty good value to most teams in a depth role, including us.
We'll see how much teams really value his skill set this offseason or next if he stays healthy. To me he is the opposite of Gattis. He should have value to plenty of teams for a pretty cheap contract but who knows anymore?

Only if he stays cheap, imo.
