I will take Cuban over McNair anyday I don’t get all the hate. Watson is being a big baby about all this. Texans management is so inept that Watson is not the only one who wants out....Watt has tiptoed the line of saying it as well...

ESPN is saying that Watson did indeed ask to be traded a while ago. I saw that....Corch is right, Watson empowered himself too much (actually backed himself in a corner)...he gets $40M to play football for a City that loves him.......but the Texans organization sucks.....and Watson no longer wanted to play for such dysfunctional/incompetent dipshits.... Unlike Harden, I am pissed Watson is leaving.....He gets to leave, but we're stuck with McNair....I have zero trust in the Texans, while McNair is running/owning the team....The team decisions just get progressively worse....I seriously hope Houston boycotts the Texans until McNair sales.... I might live to regret it but I would not trade Watson unless they blew me away with an offer. I'd have to be able to replace him with a Tua or Trevor Lawrence type QB plus LOTS of $1 picks and a top defensive player or an elite receiver.

McNair may be a worse owner than Dan Snyder. Cuz I'm a Houston fan, and he's destroying the team, I think he is. If he knew what he was doing, he'd have fired OBrien at the end of the playoffs in 2019 instead of keeping the idiot and letting him trade Hopkins. That is what started the discontent with Watson and Watt.

F*ck that. Don't trade him. He can lose money and/or retire. He won't though. He wants to play. We should do what is best for the team. If we don't receive enough draft comp. we should keep him. If we are offered 3 1st round picks + we should trade him. I don't see how we possibly get what he's worth. We have control of him for 7 years with his contract and franchise tags. Sure, we might suck for those first couple, but he's only 25. He can play pissed or not play at all and free up salary cap space. Win-win.

I am huge Watson fan, but despite him leading the league in passing yards, and setting some nice completion records, team still sucked....4-11.... I am going to reverse my thinking on this, trade him to the Jets....Ask for a king's ransom....The Texans are in cap hell, and don't have draft picks....Trading away Watson frees up a ton of money...And getting draft picks allows Caserio to build the team back up.... Mehki Bection - OT - was their 1st round pick last year. Dude is a beast. Denzel Mims - WR - their 59 Pick last year (trade Randall Cobb for anything you can get)) Their 1st Round Picks for This year (which is the #2 pick in the draft) and next Their 2nd Round Pick for This year Texas draft a QB -

Nope, it's gotta hurt. Becton... If the Texans have to lose an elite QB, We need to get something really good in return.... Becton and draft picks will be phenomenal... I would do it then.. having a great offensive will help any quarterback that's having to replace Watson.. Build it in the trenches.... Offensive line and defensive line..You have those two, then you can contend..

If I am not guaranteed getting Lawrence, no deal. Other than that, Watson stays.

Then they shouldn't get Watson....Watson is a 25 year old QB, and he is in the top 5 of QBs...And he could possibly be under team control until 2028.... Even if he wants to be traded, it doesn't make sense for the Texans to do so....If the Jets want him, then pay the piper....Becton and picks.... Tunsil (LT), Becton (RT).....Tytus Howard and Scharping at G...Nick Martin (bad contract) at C.... Watt - it stomachs to me say this, but should be traded....See if you can get a 2nd rounder for him.....He is FA after this year, and if the team is tear down and rebuild mode, its best to do so. At the end of the season - Mercilius and Cobb can be released....after this season, their dead cap hits really fall to the point, where they can be released David Johnson - if released this offseason is only a 2.1M hit....and his salary is 8.1M, so the only reason why he doesn't get cut this OS, is so not to even make a further laughing stock of the Texans....Yes, O'Brien should get most of the blame, but with him no longer being in the organization, it would all fall onto Easterby's fault, which falls on McNair. Duke Johnson - could be release right now, no dead cap hit....but his contract is less than David Johnson - 5M...so it will be interesting of the two, which one gets released...

You don't trade Watson to the Jaguars, even if you get Lawrence and picks in return....No way, do I want to face Watson two games a year, for the next 7 seasons.... But the Jets will be sitting there with #2 pick....Justin Fields and Zach Wilson will both be there as #2 picks....heck you could trade down maybe a little and get the one you want....

I just can't imagine that we can get what he's going to be worth over the next several seasons. I know the Texans' organization is a mess right now so I don't entirely blame him... But he was fine with them in September when they paid him $160 million. Suck it up. If ANYBODY should be bitching, it should be JJ. His career is almost over and they never went anywhere with him.

If he wants to leave, and someone wants to pay a king's ransom for him, well okay....Not because we care about his best interests, but actually it would be for our own.......Texans have many holes to fill, and have sh*t for draft picks and very little cap space...Trading away Watson to address many of the needs and free up cap space could actually be the best way to build this team back to a playoff contender... The above I would have never thought I would have said, but who are we kidding, the Texans suck. Now, give Caserio a lot of draft picks and see if he can build the team. I would still talk with Jets, and ask for a ton of picks and Becton.... And yes, I agree with you, do Watt a favor, trade him. Let him go somewhere he can win. He did it the right way, so I do care about his interests somewhat.

The Rockets caved in to Harden and Westbrook so the Texans will cave to Watson. They may be forced to trade Watts, too. All of this crap can be blamed on McNair, who is a bonafide fool.
