It was nice of the Astros to give the Orioles fans some hope today.

Pitching won this one because most of the hitters took the day off

I'd rather win a blow out. But I'll settle for any win.

Several guys had terrible at bats today...I wish we could give Reddick some bench time. He didn't have a clue.

Not actually suggesting it. Thought it was funny with all of the DFA's we've been doing though. We are getting so spoiled with how good our players are that we just DFA players now

You cannot stay on the Astros roster without being very good these days. At least we're getting some value these days instead of simply releasing them for nothing like some of our former GMs chose to do. PhillyED comes to mind.

Next question with the talent of our roster, how many games will we lose the rest of the year? 46 games left. No joke, I think we go 35-11 to finish the year 111-50.

He actually began the season on fire and was above .300 for a long time and a potential Allstar game candidate. When he’s cold it lasts a lot longer than most ball players cold spells last.

Carson Kelly doesn’t give a shit about Jansen’s cut fastball. Dodgers lose.

I'm tempering all these 110+ W predictions with the fact we barely beat one of the worst teams in MLB last night. I can almost guarntee that even with unlimited talent, we will have rough patches.
I just hope one of them is not around October 1-31.

The guy is HOF bound, but he sure didn't play that way for us. If I remember correctly, I don't think too many of us had heartburn with the move at the time. Having a perennial WS caliber team, coupled wth a very strong farm does not bear well in being patient with marginal players. Kind of a unfortunate byproduct of success.
