Astros hit 5 for 10 with RISP tonight, and Bregman looked substantially improved.

Fisher's double wins the Exit Velocity award tonight at 109.6 mph off the bat. Springer flied to center at 107.7 mph but no cigar for him.

If Fisher would just swing the damn bat instead of trying to look like he has a great eye then he would be fine. He knocks the snot out of the ball when he turns it loose.

Astros needed only 129 pitches to finish off the Sox today, and that was including that ridiculously long AB against Verlander.

Are the Phillies this good or is it an illusion. Kapler was a bet to have lost the clubhouse by now

Angels probably got all depressed looking at the AL scoreboard, now they can't hit *or* pitch.

In keeping wth tradition, Marisnick and Gattis get in the game in the late innings and each strikes out in his only plate appearance. That is 12 in his last 24 at bats for Jake......PLEASE send him down. AJ feels comfortable with a 10 run lead and lets Giles pitch the 9th. Verlander pitches 6 shutout innings, lowers his ERA to 1.10 and is still third behind Morton and Cole. Bats are heating up.....George and Carlos swung it pretty well tonight as did McCann. Marwin still looks half asleep.

Tim Federowicz is now 11 for 25. And he throws out base stealers like nobody's business. I'm wondering if perhaps the Astros' 2019 catcher situation isn't already solved.

I honestly would go Marisnick because Sipp doesn't have to pitch all that much and almost never in a high leverage situation. I bet Marisnick could pitch better than Sipp in those situations Sipp says he can hit better than Jake....The Feud is on, who sucks more Marisnick or Sipp.

I don't think much would change or hurt the team. Like Sipp, Jake would never pitch and Sipp would just strike out in the nine hole like Jake.

I'm sure both know they're the players most likely to go down in a roster move.

Colin has been great as a reliever. Who between McHugh/Peacock is the short reliever may require a second look here

Angels probably got all depressed looking at the AL scoreboard, now they can't hit *or* pitch. After they finish this series with SF, they come to Houston where Cole, Morton, and Verlander will be waiting for them.

Colin has been great as a reliever. Who between McHugh/Peacock is the short reliever may require a second look hereYou know I have been waiting for McHugh to be traded because he just did not impress me as a reliever before the season started at least. Now I am becoming impressed. He seems to have it and Peacock seems to have lost a little bit of his feel for his slider.
