Some interesting stats for Boston so far this year:
They are currently on pace to score 1049 runs this year. Houston was talked about last year for their hitting and only scored 896 They are currently on pace to give up 452 runs this year. Houston is on pace to give up 424 this year with how great our pitching has been so far. They are currently hitting 293. Last year we hit 282 as a team. They are currently on pace to win 147 games this year. They have only given up 1 unearned run through 19 games. We have given up 6 already.
Boston is off to a great start obviously. They have a lot of talent on that team. However just like last year when Cleveland won 22 or 23 games in a row no team can hold that kind of pace over a complete year. We did not last year, they will not this year. They will be more of a challenge to our repeating as champions than most people thought before the season started, but let's see how they deal with the summer and a few injuries.

Who between McHugh/Peacock is the short reliever may require a second look here You know I have been waiting for McHugh to be traded because he just did not impress me as a reliever before the season started at least. Now I am becoming impressed. He seems to have it and Peacock seems to have lost a little bit of his feel for his slider. Right on about Peacocks slider, it has flattened out with no bite or break, that is hanging in the strike zone.

His success last year was attributed to his mastery of the slider and the speed/drop difference between the curve and the slider I believe. If he loses his slider then he will have problems.

Doug you dropped the ball on the SD-Arz game. I was reading about Maggie Nixon & Obama. I'll post something about it in the Stormy Daniels thread. It's related. Hey Doug, maybe I should stop talking about Stormy, I am getting Adam and Eve advertisement banners across my board selling adult items. What kind of board is Bortaz running here. LOL

The Bo Sox took advantage of the schedule to get off to a good start, playing the Rays and Marlins gave them a jump start.

Peacock will find his groove in this long season. And McHugh is more valuable than others think. One reason I never wanted him traded before the season started.

Since I read your post I am looking at these adds and there is nothing I really searched. I guess I better keep an eye on the computer. If I have to rely on Adam and Eve, I might have to start looking into a Viagra prescription.

Sipp says he can hit better than Jake....The Feud is on, who sucks more Marisnick or Sipp. Let's have them switch roles for a couple weeks. I don't think much would change or hurt the team. Like Sipp, Jake would never pitch and Sipp would just strike out in the nine hole like Jake. Sipp used to be a position player, didn't he? In college or something? I bet he can at least lay down some bunts.

LOL Does that mean if we talk about Osama bin Laden, we will get ads for discount jihadi training camps? The ad I keep getting is: "Endless adventures await. Create your own community today." But I have another laptop and that one always gives me ads about forex trading. Which is weird, because I don't trade forex.

Strom will get Peacock's slider working again.....just wish he could get inside Giles' head and fix the problem there. I like what I have seen from McHugh and see why he hasn't been traded. He could be a valuable part of this team out of the bullpen or as starter if necessary.

Not good in fantasy baseball this season. Santana and Kingery have struggled. Hoskins has sputtered as well.
