The Astros got swept in a 4-game series by the A’s in Oakland on September 8-10, 2017. They left Oakland with a 13-game lead in the AL West and 19 games left to play in the regular season. If we lose today we will leave Oakland with a 5.5-game lead in the division and 37 games remaining in the regular season. Plenty of time for the A’s to catch and pass Houston, if the Astros continue to sleep walk through the rest of the season. Our guys need to wake up and realize that they did not win the WS when Luhnow traded for Greinke.

Maybe Grienke can give us the spark we need. Greinke is in a good spot for us today. We either go home 7.5 or 5.5 up and that is important. We need somebody in the lineup to be a spark and I see a big game for Springer today. We have our best lineup out thee. |

I see Diaz is back on the Injured and the bring up Sneed. Yes the BP has been hammered lately but Sneed-WTH. Two people on the bench, whats the Deal they cant bring up Tucker till Sept. because of stupid Baseball Rule.
