Miley luckly to only give up one run in the first inning. We did a good job of responding and getting the lead......Maybe Correa needs a day off because he looks awful. He may not have gotten much rest today, Unless Kalas has health issues or a family problem, he is getting too much time off and we suffer having to listen to Etchenfelder who is the worst excuse for a play by play guy that I have ever heard.  |

I really like this batting order. I’ve been wanting to see Brantley in the #2 slot. I think the team would benefit from a more disciplined hitter in the #2 slot. Opposing teams have figured out that Altuve is going to swing at the first pitch 90% of the time, regardless of pitch location. So the smart teams throw a pitch outside of the zone and watch him pop up or ground into a DP way too often with Springer on base. i wish AJ would leave Brantley in the #2 slot for a few games, but I know he won’t.

I know Mayfield is supposed to be there and just batted.

Altuve's approach can be frustrating, but his production when he is right, could fit anywhere in the lineup.
