I agree with everything but yallt saying Jose doesn't have the drive now that he has the contract. If that was true, he wouldn't be trying to do too much on that play. It was just a bad decision. if anything everyone trying to do too much was the problem tonight

Something is different about Jose, he doesn't have that Hunger Drive he had before. Altuve is a likeable guy. He is a heckuva athlete, but after watching so many undisciplined at-bats and unexplainable base running blunders on his part, I have come to the conclusion that Coach is right. The little guy really is a dumbass.

Funny how they can give themselves up like that but heaven forbid someone does a squeeze play every once in a while or at least bunt a runner to third base every once in a while.

I've no doubt Hinch ripped everyone a new one tonight. Pitch selection was abysmal

only thing missing was Jimbo's gleaming commentary At least Jimbo kept it clean, I was interesting how he could change players names around to meet the moment. that reminds me talshill had tickets tonight. Poor guy

I don't understand why more teams don't pound us with breaking stuff. Our 2015 staff would've swept the team that played tonight

Also, if teams would use openers as starting pitchers against us in the playoffs, we’d get swept.

My daughter wanted to buy me tickets for a Stros spring training game at the Wide World of Sports, I told her to save her money because on road trips they usually send AAA players on long trips from the home base.

Hinch’s demeanor in the press conference is as if his wife just left him. Poor guy.

Tonight was a perfect example of the past few weeks of woe. Great starting pitching, offset by poor situational hitting, and general bonehead play.
Some kind of cold slap in the face is needed for this team.

It's all my fault. I came back from my vacation and suddenly we lose. Don't worry, I have anothed scheduled Maybe Jay you should go back to taking the shower gig, it worked great two years ago, and was the start of many great rallies. LOL, perhaps

Some kind of cold slap in the face is needed for this team. The frustrating thing is that sometimes the reverse happens like in that game Correa and Brantley both went deep twice.

I remember when AJ got ejected from a Spring training game and he thought about driving to Jupiter cause it was split-squad day
He said he wasn't sure what the rules were for ST ejections

Will not be making that mistake again anytime soon. It was boring, but at least it was short. Chirinos' HR was an absolute bomb, BTW.

Hoping for a better game (even though we would most likely have clinched by then and may rest players or even a starter)

Did you hear what Bogusevic told Blummer when he was asked why no one in MLB is stealing bases anymore? They both think it's a thing of the past because advanced metrics have shown that it's not worth the effort/risk. For each caught stealing, you have to steal successfully three times to break even.

It was boring to watch at home. I can't imagine it being better at the park.
But since Chirinos and Springer were hot, it's time to give them a day off.
