I've always had a little, under the surface feeling that McHugh is pissed about being taken out of the rotation and that his performance was based on that pissedness (and injury).

Yeah, I doubt McHugh is back with us. More than likely, the next time McHugh takes the mound it will be in a different uniform. He is the type that the Rangers will try to sign and plug into their rotation. |

So many people don't like that I oppose Mike Trout beng MVP even though his team is about 30 games behind the Astros and I think Bregman should get it because he has VALUE to the Astros and the Angels suck with or without Trout. Trout will probably get it eveb though he shouldn't . A lot of the East Coast media will push DJ LaMahieu because he plays for the Yankees |

I wish Brantley got the day off instead. He has exceeded all expectations and done a very good job for us, but he is hitting .232 with only a .650 OPS over the last 4 weeks. We need him rested for the postseason.

They could also use the off-days from Brantley to get Alveraz some more work in LF in case he has to play some there in the postseason. These last 10 games should be all about postseason preparation.
