This punk ass is going to be worthless in the playoffs...Mark my words. Yep... He might not turn it up until contract year, so he can get his sweet NY or LA payoff.

Correa is probably hurt again. He did swing the bat a half dozen times yesterday, you know. Probably strained his groin on one of them

This punk ass is going to be worthless in the playoffs...Mark my words. I thought that as soon as I heard his candy ass would be in last night's lineup......shut him down and trade his ass.......he's gutless and useless.

You are highly respected here, but I'd say the spread is about 80/20 anti-Correa here right now. His personal choices and work ethic, are suspect at best. In 2015, we were sold goods that this was a future HOF'er. Now, it is coin flip on whether he'll ever play 100 games a season now.

He is a super talented player/great teammate/proven playoff producer that gets hurt a lot....*If healthy and playing he is an asset to the team ... Hopefully he goes off in the playoffs, gets ton of exposure and Astros get tremendous trade value for him in the offseason. Money that could be saved to pay for his arbitration years can go to re-signing Cole and next year extending Springer.... Plus get us some younger, healthier, cheaper prospects whose salaries can offset the bigger salaries from our stars

Kudos to you for taking the high road. Some of us are less patient.

Is it just me or has Correa gotten worse the more he’s bulked up?

We can get a good return back for Correa unless other teams have watched his actions here. He is super-talented but doesn't appear to be dedicated to his team or he would do things differently. His top priority doesn't seem to involve doing his job.

But, he doesn't seem to care about doing what it takes to perform up to his capabilities. That is a shame and that is what makes me angry. I know you don't agree, but, his main problem is Daniella.

I'm doubtful Correa will get a huge payday in free agency if he can't stay healthy. Why not wait for Trevor Story to become a free agent if one were a GM

Unless you live with them, you have no idea what goes on in their home. I am just going by the fact that his "issues" always seem to occur while he is off the field and are non-baseball related. That is why I think she is involved and I doubt if I am the only one who sees it that way. Did you really buy that story about Carlos getting a cracked rib due to a massage? No way did a licensed masseuse massage his ribs, and, if they had, what was done would not have fractured his rib. i have no clue as to how he cracked it, but, it wasn't due to a massage....that was a bold faced lie they told to cover up what really happened because the truth would have been an embarrassment to Carlos and make him look bad. It also seems to take him twice as long as other players to get rehabilitated and get back in the lineup. Now, he plays one game and is sitting again. No way he gets ready for the post season by staying out of the lineup.

Agreed, the league has changed to being more cautious with long term contracts now. I could see a team giving him $20 million a year on a 1 or even a 3 year contract due to his experience, nationality background and productive bat at times but giving a player like Correa a 5 or 6 year deal is just begging for trouble.
Too bad they can't put an incentive in there like (if you play 150 games in a season you will get x amount of dollars, otherwise base pay)

Exactly.......that is why I would try to deal him to a team he doesn't want to play for as a payback for the bullshit he pulled on the Astros. Hoochie coochie girl wants him in LA or NY and has orchestrated this crap hoping the Astros will deal him to one of those places. If they offer the best package of playes for him.....good. Deal him there but I wish we could send him to somewhere like Baltimore or Detroit.

Oh and take Devo from us and every game we play against the Yanks Devo has to pitch at least 2 innings.
