Stat of the night... Reddick 5 for 6 with zero runs and zero RBIs At some point, they have to admit that the offense stinks with RISP. They need to take chances with steals or bunt guys over. It’s much better to need a fly ball to score than hope they hit a home run because for whatever reason, they can’t beat the shift or smack a line drive to the outfield. And once Alvarez gets to 2 strikes on the count they need to take off from 1st base. Because he's destined to strike out anyhow.

BTW, I think this game pushes Peacock in the starting rotation now Man, I wish this offense was more consistent. I also wish guys would pick each other up more. It’s either they’re on fire like nine of Barry Bonds, or they don’t know which side of the bat to hold at the plate.

A part of me wishes players got paid once at the end of the season and in cash only to see Correa's face when they split his pile in half.

They should make Correa wear incomplete jerseys and tell him to earn the team name, number, and his last name on them.

Stat of the night... Reddick 5 for 6 with zero runs and zero RBIs Woke up briefly just to see the results. Ugh. 5-6 with 0 runs and 0 rbis's is the stat of the night. Honorable Mention? Devenski going 2 innings without a hit. I though it was a typo. Oh well, back to sleep. HF Clinch moment later tonight,

What a sucky team! I can't believe they won 104 games this season. Woe is me, how in the world will they ever win another game? Hinch should be fired! Cut Correa, Altuve, Reddick, etc.
(this is how you guys sound to me.)

The perfect ending for Correa would be to keep him off the playoff roster, win the World Series, and have the team vote to give his share of playoff revenue to charity, Then, trade his candy ass so he and his gold-digger can have a new city in which to pull their crap.

Even if you don't like Correa, the best thing for the team is for him to tear up the postseason this year.

Seriously, you go way too far... well past annoying... Maybe so, but no further than Correa pushes things with this "poor little me" act he puts on and Hinch keeps falling for it and babying him. What he has needed for awhile is for teammates to confront him about this crap he keeps pulling.

Are you really expecting him to "tear up the postseason" after doing nothing for most of the season? This slacker has played in 75 games this season.....two in the last couple of months......and you think he is ready for the post season. I hope you are right but, it's higly unljkely, What happens when he plays about 3 innings of game one of the ALDS and then he claims his back hurts.

What he has needed for awhile is for teammates to confront him about this crap he keeps pulling. A. I've never heard Correa cry about it for attention. B. Do you honestly believe he doesn't want to be playing? He knows it hurts his future value with contracts/extensions. C. What should Hinch do? Force a guy to play that says he's in pain? D. Nobody knows what pain he is or isn't feeling, but I find it hard to believe he would fake it. Maybe he could play through some of it or maybe it would get worse, but, generally, risking worse issues by playing through injuries is not the approach most teams use with young players they've invested a lot in. It's one thing to knock his durability because that is valid and frustrating, but there is no reason to believe it is anything but just health issues. It's not like he's holding out for a big contract like in football. Him missing time now hurts his bottom line and he knows it.

I don't know if he'll do anything in the postseason or not, because even healthy players can suck in the postseason. But, I know that when he has been able to play in the postseason, he has mostly done very well. Not to mention he looked very good right before these last missed games.

The real enigma is why y'all are still surprised when Corch talks like a drooling retard. Right.........since I don't buy all this crap about Correa's back, I am a retard. Seems to me like I recall reading several posts from othes who basically agree with me.....are they retards, too? Seriously, those who aren't suspicious of all this crap are the ones acting like ret retards. Just because you want to believe Correa is wonderful and working hard to be able to play doesn't make it so. Maybe if I posted a bunch of off-topic photos I'd look more intelligent.

People need to come to terms that he won’t be ready for the postseason but that he’ll play because management wants him to do so.

If CC had a contract like Stanton, who gets injured every time he reaches into the bat rack, then I could see the whining. The CC derangement syndrome is getting old.

It doesn’t help that Altuve was hobbling around on one leg last year and still hitting homers, and Correa missed a bunch of games for a massage mishap.

Who knows what the real story is, but reading these theories gives some laughable drama. Another thing about a bad back, until one experiences the injury, then they should complain. You can hit on one leg, but try to torque a swing with a bad back.

The reality is we’ll get some form of him at the bottom of the lineup. The team should look at it as him not being around anymore this season and take any positive contribution as extracurricular.

No, that wouldn't quite be enough. i hardly think a mentally deficient frog is a good judge of intelligence, I think I'm a better judge.....but to be clear, I don't care if I'm the only one who things this farce with Correa is a joke and should be embarrassing the organization.

Jose had legit injuries and tried to battle through them for the team. Springer has had injuries that were legit and he fought to get back and then produced., With Correa, it is the same story line.....either a cracked rib that he nad to lie about how he got it because the truth would have made him look bad and "back issues" that seem to pop up away from the field. No straight answers ever given as to what is actually wrong. He always seems to come up with a dfferent line for the same crap.It has gotten old and some people still seem to have no problem with it. Now......after doing nothing for weeks....he is going to step in and play a big role in another title run.....Give me a break!!
