If $2M = millions for Jake then that's scientifically correct I suppose But from a contextual standpoint I doubt giving Springer half that and Cole the other half would make a difference if they'd rather test free agency |

You can Devo and Sanchez to that list. |

If you check the box score, I think you will find that everybody who batted with runners on third with less than two outs failed to drive in the run. Are they all worthless, too? |

I don't keep up with who makes which play and neither does anyone else. I have seen no play that he failed to make that any of our outfielders would have made. I have never argued that he should be highly paid; I don't think he belongs on the post season roster and I don't think he should be retained at a higher salary than he is getting. But, for you to keep saying he's worthless is ridiculous. |

Jake had a hit after entering last night's game and didn't leave nearly as many runners on base as some others.
