Like Big Hurt said last night, even if they ARE tipping pitches, the batter still has to hit the 99mph fast ball with movement.

I enjoyed how Hinch screwed with Cash yesterday by switching out catchers but keeping Cole in for one more inning.

Who gives a crap? Stealing signs and tipping pitches goes back to the beginnings of the game. When Ruth was a pitcher for the Red Sox he used to stick his tongue out when he was throwing a curve. You don't think TB or the Yankees or anyone else would make use of such information if they had it? The talking heads over-analyze everything so they need fresh topics to discuss. Wind and noise is all it is.

No wonder they caught all the breaks last year.

They have to have stuff to talk about, and you can only talk about how God-like Cole is so many times.

In theory, we should hit the Yankees pitching much better. However, they should hit us better than the Rays did as well.

In the first inning they clearly showed Altuve whispering to the dugout after his hit. And After Bregman scored he whispered something to CC as well. We need to keep that shit on the down low. Yankees are probably pouring over video of all their pitchers right now looking for flawsThere's nothing better that getting into the minds of your opponents before the first pitch. Pour over that video!

Have they announced if we made any changes to the roster?

Have they announced if we made any changes to the roster? They should all huddle up outside the dugout with one person looking out towards the pitcher nodding his head before going back into the huddle. Then Bregman makes a throwing motion and points to the pitcher. Every one snickers and they break.

Theu say both Glasnow and Kershaw were tipping pitches. In the first inning they clearly showed Altuve whispering to the dugout after his hit. And After Bregman scored he whispered something to CC as well. They weren't whispering. They were flat out having a conversation.

The dumbass on MLBN network......mad dog.............says the Yankees win in 5 games and that the Astros will be intimidated by Yankee Stadium like they were in 2017, Yankees starters are "serviceable"....bullpen is fantastic and lineup better than two years ago.....He says Correa is not close to what he was two years ago and that is probably accurate.
No way ib hell do the Yankees win in five.........I think the Astros win in 6-7, Greinke's start tomorrow could be the key to the series.

I’m sure they picked the Rays to advance after Game 4, and I’m sure most people picked the Dodgers to beat us. How’d that work out?

Most of the East Coast media will never pick against the Yankees.

Have they announced if we made any changes to the roster? Not yet. If there is a change, I think it will be dropping Miley and adding Abreu. I hope they make that change, but will be surprised if they do.

No, they'll just hit massive bombs. They also pile up strikeouts. Doesn't matter. Their lineup is arguably just as good, if not better in some ways, than ours. Good pitching stops good hitting, but our bullpen is shakier than theirs. If our starters aren't successful and pitching deep, it could be bad. Unlike with the Rays, 4 runs in the 1st inning won't matter if we don't add more during the game. As good as JV and Cole are, I don't see them holding them scoreless. I believe it's a plus that we have Greinke starting Game 1 at home and saving Cole for NYC. I also believe it's a plus that they've had a relatively long lay off while we're coming in hot.

MLB.com position by position comparison has us winning in seven games for what that's worth.
Greinke only gave up 3 ER in 12.2 innings against NYC this season. Of course, as he mentioned, they had a lot of injuries at the time.
