Dear Mushmouf, voice-to-text doesn't work for you. If you have any self-esteem left, please stop. I have been your sidekick and have been banned. Therefore, all s-e is gone.

Blue sky perfect world for me would be to sign Chirinos, trade Correa for Castillo, and sign Harris and call it good. More than doable even though I’m not big on re-signing a soon-to-be overpaid 35-year old Chirinos.

Astros are trying to bring Craig Stamman in and might bring back Will Harris aswell.
Also there is a report Astros will be looking into a trade for a Catcher and a SP. Not really looking for ones on the FA market

We’re still optimistic that we’re gonna get one of our top priority catchers and hoping that that happens before the New Year.” Jeff Luhnow on replacing first base coach Don Kelly: “We’re doing interviews this week. At this point we’re only interviewing internal candidates. We’ll make a decision at the end of this week whether or not we make an offer internally or whether we expand it to talk to others.”

I don't think both acquisitions will be FAs.

Drom what I understand Lunhow might wanna excute his Offseason Plans before he gets suspended.
He is a Patiant person. But this cheating thing might push hom to the Aggressor.
As for Starting Pitchers, there has been no FA names mentioned to the Astros as being intreasted in. But they have not been linked to any Tradables aswell. Just a Speculation of the Reds SP.

But they want him to return but he may get one of those contracts that puts us out of the running. But Stamman could be had for 5m a year that would be a steal. I would tey and get both and see if I could unload Devenski some how some where. Maybe for some Trash cans some where? To soon lol. Tommy Hunter isnt bad, it would just depend on if or when he could be ready and if he wanted to play here? Plus money. I think the Money is the biggest If in any addition

You continue to amaze me by assuming that any rumor you hear stated by a member of the media is actually going on. I can assure you that Luhnow doesn't report to Morosi, Rosenthal, or any of them regarding his intentions or things he may be working on. I wish I knew that he was actually working to trade Correa to the Reds for Castillo or to the Cubs for Contreras. I would prefer a trade for Castillo.

Don Kelly will be the bench coach for the Pirates this year. He's originally from the Pittsburgh area so it's a good situation for him. Plus, one step closer to managing a team.

I might as well lock it down until the season starts.

My apologies..........Maybe voodoo will land us Contreras and Castillo before Christmas.

Although I am not surprised by our lack of off-season activity, I get frustrated when I see other teams strengthening themselves while we are basically idle. I am glad we gave McCullers that contract, but, I can't get excited if Garneau is the only catcher we sign or trade for. for. Keeping Joe Smith is OK but not a basic need.......We are still a starting pitcher short of having a good rotation. We need to either re-sign Chirinos or trade for a guy like Contreras. I wish I knew they were trying to trade Correa, but, I doubt if they are trying very hard,. Moving him to the Reds for Luis Castillo makes perfect sense to me.

Adding the rumors together a trend is emerging that ownership is reluctant to raise payroll. I'd be surprised if Harris or Chirinos is back
