Altuve - .255 (24-94) - .286 (4-14) LMAO......not much better than a guy being paid for defense. Little Jose was probably the worst on the team with the bases loaded and one of the worst in the league. Stats show that Springer is a much better clutch hitter than Altuve or Bregman. I absolutely believe this is the year if we are not doing well at the deadline we are selling the farm i dont think altuve or tucker or bregman or a couple others but im sure there would be a couple names that you would be surprised about.
Im not saying we are bad or even remotely near that but the other teams have gotten better its not gonna be a walk in the park like it was the last two years

I am not defending Jake......he was a very inconsitent hitter....terrible. All I did was point out that his numbers with runners on base were not much worse than Altuve, who most of you can't seem to find a weakness even when they stare you in the face. Yes. Altuve is a "franchise player". Jake was not over-rated........he was not paid to hit and is one of the highest rated defensive outfielders in the game. Altuve may be a franchise player but Springer is what makes the offense tick. |

That does not change the fact that he SUCKED with runners on base last season It won't change the fact that he never learns from mental mistakes and continues doing the same dumb shit over and over again. I would list examples but it would take half a day to put them down and then I'd be accused of not liking " ferriners and messkins".
