When you continue to claim that one of the top defensive centerfielders in the game "cannot play basebal", call him a "worthless loser", and a "mf'er' you show just how little you actually know about the importance of defense to a team. The Venezuelan will probably make the HOF and will deserve it. That does not change the fact that he SUCKED with runners on base last season It won't change the fact that he never learns from mental mistakes and continues doing the same dumb shit over and over again. You refuse to accept the FACT that he is a great defender.....ask Astros pitchers. I was not opposed to trading him and I still think it was the thing to do. Your continued insults are proof of your misconstrued bias. I don't have a "man crush" on anybofy and that includes your hero, Jose Altuve. Altuve is a great player and I am glad we have him. But, we need to go all in to extend Springer, the real heart and soul of the team. To offer him $12 million less than Jose gets is just plain stupid and an insult to Springer. |

And this is why I said this trade deadline should be the one if we are behind two teams to sell everything but a few. Its gonna be very hard to do anything forward. There is alot of guys we could trade for that are younger and cheaper that could help us for a long long time. The guys we have will leave and not come back knowing what they know about our team and yes other teams will be reluctatent to trade with us. But it can be done for needy teams.
Brantley, Reddick, Springer, Correa, Grienke Yuli even Verlander should all be on the block to get threw these two years

The team and the fans keep forgetting that the A’s are not pushovers. If you asked anyone here who they’d have rather faced between the Rays and A’s, not many would’ve picked the latter. They play with little fear of the Astros. The Angels’ lineup is no small task for our pitchers either. Thats what Im saying. This divison is not Cake anymore. Its gonna be a do or die kind of season. Eventually you have to rebuild this formatable team. Its not a Juggernaut anymore. Teams dont wanna hear about the Astros or any one team in a division being unstopable. IM sorry but if the Rangers add one more bat they could be very Wowing. It seems the re-formatting has begun. |

To bad George will go else where next year. No way giving him a 5 plus year deal is smart. Thats just dumb.
If you cant read between the lines there will be alot of this starting lineup gone at the end of this upcomming season and none will return.
These players loved Hinch and where here just for him and the fact this team was highly competitive.
There is no way these guys will be back after this year.
You need a fire sale and hope and pray you get some excellent up and comming players.
This is and always will be the out come. You may love this team, thinking this will not happen buy no player wants to be held back to a narrative of cheating. The only players that would stay are already signed long term.
Why cant people wrap there heads aroind that?
