This should be Bakers Job as Coach. He can handle the hopla of what is happening. Also he woulda pitched Cole to win the WS not Harris Js You are nuts if you think we need Bsker to come in and destroy the pitching staff like he has done everywhere he has been. Let him stay home and chew on his toothpick. Hiring Baker would be a terrible move.....only thing worse would be to hire Banister.

I see Springer is signed for the 2020 season which means he's gone after 2020 along with JV. Brantley is gone too. Reddick...gone.

Im gonna throw this out there. Ozuna goes to the Rangers.
Astros should see if they can SHIP Reddick to the Cards along with 5million paid on his Contract for Junior Fernandez. Its just an Idea. Cards are looking for a OF want Ozuna Back but I believe he ends up on the Rangers. He would be a great fit on the Cards OF.

See what it would take to get him at the deadline In his situation he is expendable, with their outfield situation. No doubt he can rake, he has killed it in AAA Scranton, but he has a questionable glove.

I wouldnt over pay but deffenitely try for him

Andrew Cashner an Tommy Milone are two more unsigned free agents who might be good invites to ST.

Maybe see if they bite on some young sp like Armentaros or a Peacock type of player. But he would look good batting in this lineup

Braves taking a flyer out on King Felix. $1 million if he makes the team out of ST.

I’ve gotta tell you. All this bs surrounding the Astros has really dampened my enthusiasm for the beginning of ST this year.

So Clevinger went on social media and basically said he would drill our hitters. While I normally don't mind brush backs and such, threatening players before hand seems a little over the top.
It's apparently enough of a story that ESPN ran it. Is MLB going to do anything about allowing threats and risking injuries?

Clevingers teammates need to remind him that we have Josh James on our pitching staff, and he throws 100+

Clevinger can say what he wants about the Astros, but he shouldn’t talk crap about us fans. Stay in your lane, son.

That should discourage Clevinger and any others who plan on plunking our batters.

you know I am really not concerned about losing our starting outfield. If we offer Brantley another deal I feel reasonably sure he will take it. I also think that Straw will hit around 280 and get on base at about a 360 rate. So really all that has to be proven up is if Tucker is worth anywhere near all the hype and we got our outfield.
I understand those not so jazzed about baseball being just around the corner but I am excited. When there is something else to talk about the trolls and dipshits will move on.
