Tomorrow Game is going to a Good One. I expect both starters to be on and somehow the Astros will pull it out.

Momentum has swung our way.....We beat the Nats twice with us using what was supposed to be our weakest starters. Greinke bent but didn't break

Urquidy was outstanding and is the MVP of this game. Our bats have risen from the dead.  Even old Jake got two hits and stole a base.

My takeaways tonight.....

* THE SQUID!!!!! Seems every WS has an unexpected unsung hero come up as cream to the top. Here's the guy this year. After almost $200M dollars of starters fly by Game's 1-3, the best performance of all comes from this guy. This is Hollywood stuff folks.

* Bullpen (again) - Can't say enough about how great the pens has helped us. Clutch Clutch stuff.

* Momentum- After game 2, we all know how gloomy it was around here. I think we all almost wrote the off. Nothing like the offense waking up, and pitching like we expect, to quiet an inferior team. The gnats are damn good, but they aren/t us.

* Bregman- Will tongiht's performance finally make Buck/Smoltz STFU? 3X a game making an issue of Bregman's slump was gettng damned old.

* 2-3-4 hitters tonight? 8 for freakin 15!! Yeah, we are back....

* Momentum Part II- Last night I mentioned we busted the gnat's 8 game winning streak. Last nights win was like a bloody nose for a great fighter. After feeling invincilbe, they now have to feel highly vulnerable. If we hit and pitch the next three like the last 2, we are getting anohter WS crown.

I prefer Alvarez in the NL PH role rather than being a potential defensive liability.  IMO

He'll return just fine G6 & 7 as DH

I totally agree......Keep him on the bench to pinch hit and keep a solid defense in the outfield. I think we see Brantley-Springer-Reddick out there tomorrow. I would have to fight the temptation to start Tucker instead of Reddick.

I have to say, I was skeptical when Hinch pulled Urquidy after 5 but AJ has been the more aggressive and better manager in this series. Martinez looks like he is in over his head. I hope it continues.

A lot of people did...but now is not that time either to think we have won the WS ..Cole needs to have his best game ever tonight; and in doing so, the Astros will re-sign him to a 7 year, $250M contract, with opt out periods starting year 4.

I think it was you, me, JIT and maybe Sherwin that still had faith.....but I warn everyone, don't let the pendulum swing too far, don't get over confident....let's root hard for the Astros tonight. Scherzer is a 3 time CY winner.Let's hope that Cole comes back tonight, to show why he will the most sought after FA.
