You can see it in his mobility on defense. Wonder if could pass a team physical....Astros need to trade him in the OS, to get high valued prospects at SP, C and OF....no way they will have the money to re-sign him two years from now.......Cross your fingers he hits a HR tomorrow. That’s easier to do when you’re on the rise, not when you’re basically at the top of the mountain. If Luhnow tries to trade Correa, most teams would ask what’s the catch.

No matter what you think of Trump (and let's not start a political rant in the GDT), you should respect the office. Yeah, where do these people think they are.... Philadelphia? More like Baltimore or Chicago.

Such a tough decision for the organization to make.
On one hand: His value will never be higher for a return haul and draft picks as he still has two years of control left + we can control where he goes.
On the other hand: Trading him now may send the wrong message to the team. We as fans can see the writing on the wall but does Altuve and Springer see it that way? What if Correa has been saying this whole time to them that he would like to stay (Whether true or not) and management trades him. I would almost want Springer signed first.
Also, I have a feeling Correa next year will play at least 120+ games and in 2021 play out the entire season with good numbers in his contract year. Astros could be taking away another chance at a ring over that span by just trying to stay on top of the division instead of staying elite.

How about you go cover yourself in strawberry jelly and jump out of a moving car on I10? I’m married, son. We all know it's a sham. You just wanted citizenship!

I think the players understand better than us that nothing lasts forever. Besides, Springer will be gone too.

Springer + Cole = busted bank Springer would have already been extended if that were the case. I just don't see it happening. He's given us a fantastic production and is our best WS performer ever, but I don't think he'll be an Astro after next year.

If Cole leaves, I would understand. If Springer leaves, I’d be a little depressed.

Where is your evidence? One thing to look at........if we fail to sign Cole, we have money to extend Springer. If a bidding war breaks out for Cole, we probably lose to a California team. A lot depends on bow badly he wants to stay in Houston and win. He also needs to keep in mind that California as a state income tax and Texas does not. l

Back to the game for a moment. I think Verlander has to do one main thing to be in position to beat Strasburg and the Nats for game #6 and that's DON'T WALK BATTERS!
He hasn't given up very many hits at all but those walks have come back to kill him.

Fun Buckism Fact: Adam Eaton is the first Travelocity Gnome to travel to Houston, Texas twice within one World Series.

I hope we win tonight. But, I have to admit, this World Serious has not been anywhere near as exciting as 2017. I was looking at Facebook Memories from 17, and I was blowing facebook up...this year, meh.
