I hope we win tonight. But, I have to admit, this World Serious has not been anywhere near as exciting as 2017. I was looking at Facebook Memories from 17, and I was blowing facebook up...this year, meh. We already had an epic WS win. Now I just want another. Especially after all the hype and expectations this year. Next year (when we won't be as good on paper unless they magically re-sign Cole) I'd be all for a hard fought tough WS. Tonight, I'd love to just blow them out of the water, start the celebration, and start planning where to put all of my new championship mementos. |

Back to the game for a moment. I think Verlander has to do one main thing to be in position to beat Strasburg and the Nats for game #6 and that's DON'T WALK BATTERS! Kind of hard to do with these umpires. |

But there were pitches well within the strike zone called for balls, which was why the Robles strikeout caused such a huge fuss with the Nationals. I can’t picture the strike zone getting any weirder. I was watching one of those Jomboy Media clips on the game, and I agree that these umpires are super sensitive over throwing the ball around the horn and leaving the field during 2-strike counts. They will literally call the pitch wrongly if they’ve felt shown up. |

The ALCS was always going to be the premier series, and it mostly lived up to the hype. (Other than the Yankees not winning the way the media wanted, and Judge not doing a damn thing.)
