Now would be the time to hire a manager who can bring credibility back...........go after Craig Biggio. he might be a fine coach, but god I'd hate to listen to his interview after every game. |

Looks like Crane just lowered the boom. I didn't see that coming. I thought this was going to be like the Saints' bounty scandal when Sean Payton was allowed back after his 1-year suspension Crane most likely thought he would have to deal with that all through the season with the media. Better to just let it go. |

I actually prefer Crane letting both go as an Astros fan. Just rids the team of the potential of them coming back and we can move forward.

I'm glad this is over. I'm also glad that it wasn't apparently a factor in our 2019 WS run.
That being said, losing Luhnow to termination is a huge huge loss, and Hinch...we'll see... We still have the players in place to be a good team, and hopefully they can work on the culture in the FO and clubhouse to get us back to a more integrity-driven team. It sounds like the players pushed things and justified it by leadership not reprimanding them for it. Poor leadership, but also poor ethics by the players that pushed it/used it.
Cora likely gets fired. Beltran, who knows about his manager's position but it will definitely hurt his HOF case in 4 more years.
