Meanwhile, BOB is still the head coach of the Texans.  I just told my co-workers that the only person in Houston happy about the Astros cheating scandal is BOB. It takes the attention off of him. |

I was waiting for the facts to come out. I still think they're going overboard in punishing the Astros organization. MLB is pissed because their beloved big market teams aren't doing so well and we were. The Nationals better look out. They'll be coming after them next.

I wonder if Stearns would come back to Houston. He was one of Jeff's understudy guys, doing a good job in Brew town. Wasn't the new GM in Baltimore a Jeff understudy also. |

Sad day, but not unexpected. Both Luhnow and Hinch deserve to get the axe (and I was a big Luhnow fan). I'm most disappointed in the players that used the system. If they didn't, they should have stood against it. I'm doubly disappointed that there are a lot of MLB fans who'll sanctimoniously cast stones as if their teams are squeaky clean (and perhaps some are). Losing Hinch and $5 million is no big deal; losing Luhnow and the draft picks hurts.
