Is it a surprise to anybody that the most understanding of our plight (or least vehement) are Red Sox players? If their investigation doesn't turn up anything, will they still be somewhat supportive or will they go on the offensive like the rest of the league? I think they're reading what some of the Yankees like Stanton are saying, and saying bitch please

He can't even stay healthy long enough to belt 80 homers

It’s hard to hit 80 home runs in 59 at-bats.

It’s hard to hit 80 home runs in 59 at-bats. Unless you are Mike Stanton.

I remember when Dan LeBatard invited Rob Manfred on his show just to yell at him about the Stanton trade.

Manfred issued a warning against using tech to steal signs after the Yankee/Red Sox used smart watches and phones.

I’m proud of Stanton. He can see eye-to-eye with the pitcher who hit him in the face with a fastball.

I am not concerned about Stanton....He usually misses half of the season. Paxton is always on the IL and Severino is gettng as bad. German is suspended. Cole can't pitch 4 games a week. Maybe karma is paying the Yankees an early visit.

Maybe karma is paying the Yankees an early visit. It seems like Manfred and the MLB will not give proper punishments to the likes of the Yankees and Red Sox so the Astros will be their scapegoat. At this point, all we can hope for is karma paying the Yankees a visit. I do not like the Red Sox either, but I am a little less inclined to wish bad karma against them. For the most part, their players have not put the Astros on a pedestal and roasted us.

Jeff Passan sticking up for Fiers while the players are agreeing with Ortiz. Big shocker there.

Karma could be visiting them now...........Paxton and Severino both down.....who do they have behind Cole to start the season? German is suspended..........Judge and Stanton will be injured as always sometime this season. ' I actually agree with Mad Dog Russo that the outside attacks will cause the Astros to come together even more than they already do and win the AL West. If our pitching comes through, we are in good shape.

Just imagine what it's gonna be like if the Astros hitters struggle this season.

Rush Limbaugh delivered the same message to the Yankees this morning. “Get over it.! No joke! How did they expect to win the 2017 ALCS scoring 3 runs in the 4 games they lost? We only scored 2, 2, 7 and 4 in those games we won so it's not like we were just mashing the ball in those wins.

The Yankees LOST because their hitting sucked............their big guns struck out over and over leaving runners on base. Morton, McCullers, and Peacock were their masters.

""I don’t believe any of my Yankee teammates ever broke the rules by passing along signs to hitters in real time," said Teixeira. "We would have seen it.""

Like Rush Limbaugh said, the Astros did what teams have been doing. They just took it to another level.
Everyone on this board knows that if it had not been the Yankees, Dodgers and Red Sox that the Astros eliminated in 2017, there would not be nearly as big an outcry in the media or by the fans as there is now. If it had been Tampa Bay, Minnesota and Colorado, few would have taken notice. The Astros would have been fined by MLB and that would have been the end of it.

If the Yankees were squeaky clean, why did they get fined in 2017?

As I have said many times......along with some others.....we are mainly in this mess because we beat the wrong teams..the media darlings.....Yankees, Dodgers, Red Sox. If we had beaten Toronto, Kansas City, and the Rockies to win the WS, the media would not be eearly as aggressive in its coverage. It has basically been around the clock Astros and the sign-stealing for weeks. The media darlings are just as guilty as we are, but, they will get away with it because Manfred doesn't have the balls to investigate them.

Has anybody heard how Brantley feels about all of this? I heard an interview with him this afternoon and he was asked how he was dealing with it........he is concentrating on baseball and getting ready for the season. It also sounds as if he is taking a leadership role in helping the younger players through it.
