Hunter Renfroe was DFA'ed by the Rays. He might be a guy worth looking at. He's the kind of hitter that some fans get annoyed by (Gattis, Carter, etc.) but a cost-effective guy that can hit 30+ HRs and play decent defense in the corner OF spots is something we could really use.

I was more or less looking at a McCullers, Garcia and a PTBNL for Nick Senzel.
Creates alittle room for our young guys and not stuck trying to Convince McCullers he would be better off as a BP guy

Apparently teams are asking about him, but Astros are not pushing him.
On another note
There is alot of trade chatter as we speak. Astros are for sure interested in DJ.
But why is the Q?
Astros are looking for a OF, SP and Bullpen guys.
But again I circle back to Why DJ?
He is an INF guy.
I'm sure someone could move to the OF but again who?

But even with that, it doesn't mean it for sure. We need at least two OFers, period. Brantley isn't a done deal yet so it makes sense to look at all options. |
