Korey Lee with a good debut game at AA. He went 1-3 with a 2-run home run. He also threw out the only runner who tried to steal on him. Corpus wins 3-0.

But if you have a guy that is bringing more overall value, why not? Chas is easily proving that he's a solid 4th OFer if nothing else. |

Exactly what the Astros need... Definitely, but I wonder if Chas wouldn't be the better overall player if given the same amount of playing time as Straw. It's a nice argument to have when, for a while, it was looking like we wouldn't have three good OFers let alone four. |

Over the last 28 games for Straw:
.320 AVG .384 OBP 3/4 SBs
Last 28 days for Chas:
.857 OPS 4 HR
Different strengths, but both great numbers to see.

I wish they'd give him the same amount of playing time and see what his numbers would be. He has driven in 20 runs in just a little over 80 AB's with 6 home runs. One home run every 15 AB's is something I'd take. He looked worse last night than I remember.......4 K's and he looked bad on all of them. |

Matijevic was promoted to AAA yesterday. He went 1-4 in his AAA debut last night.
Brett Conine righted the ship in his start for Sugarland last night. Pitched 6 innings allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, struck out 5 and didn’t walk a batter.
