Kind of hard to, given she is just ashes. Don’t make me feel like a bad person! I don't mean to, I know you meant no harm. We have joked this way for 15 plus years. I will look past your sick necrophiliac ways. You're my BFAM.

You have to say in hindsight you're glad he was hitting in the two hole, instead of Carlos that went to 0-4 in the 6th hole. Might be a good idea to go Altuve, Correa, Brantley as the top three. Drop Bregman to #6. I like this idea.

I'd have given it to Odorizzi or CC. Altuve's stat line looks nice, but the GIDP, getting hit by the ball in play, and swinging at a ball out of the strikezone with the bases loaded and the previous two hitters walked were not good.
Odorizzi on the other hand, came in and held the game close for four innings to give us a chance. And Correa had a great all-around game including the HR that even allowed Altuve have the chance later.

Without Odorizzi, Carlos could not have tied the game. Without that home run, Jose would not have had the chance to hit his.

But then again even with the contributions of Odorizzi and CC, without the Jose bomb, the game to that point was in the loss column.

It's always nice to see Jose succeed with the bases loaded. As good as he has been in most cases over the years, he has always struggled with the bases loaded.

I fully support Toro as the player of the game. If not for Bregman being on the IL, this budding superstar would not have been recalled.

I still wish they'd fire his dumb ass. Not going to happen. Pretty much that ^ Dusty's contract ends after this season so there won't be a need to fire him, regardless of how things go. Firing a manager while the team is in contention is disruptive. Even if there is a lot of animosity and turmoil in the organization (I don't see that being the case here), it would be difficult to find the right person, ready to step in. Perhaps if a great manager was fired by another team ... But before anyone asks, Al Avila seems very happy with the situation in Detroit. JS.

Miggy was fortunate last night that a Ohtani breaking ball hit him near the coconut last night.
