Garcia in a no doubter. If someone would have told me that Valdez/Garcia would have both had 5 inning no hitters in Games 5 and 6? I'd thought they were crazy.
Thing is.... I think the Dead Sox had finally hit the brick wall. Their run up from the WC Game to ALCS Game 4 was an example of an overachieving and lucky team, whose luck had run out.

These two games will give both Valdez and Garcia a lot of confidence in the WS. |

Actually there is an article addressing this. Seem like Dusty and Strom in the middle of Game 4, Completely changed their game strategy. Storm had them start throwing Fastballs. As soon as they did that it turned the tables on Boston. Even Cora came out and admitted it was Game 4 change that change the outcome from that point on. They were giving a lot of Credit to Maldonado and from what I took from it was his game calling. Changing what he had been calling completely Sounds like he will make a great Coach/Manager when he retires from active playing. No mention of changing the Signs though they may have left that out to not bring that out in the open |

There was also statements from Strom saying that they thought maybe they were "tipping pitches" and made some changes.
