Nobody gives a sh*t about your little league kids from 30 years. Comparing your coaching to anything that happens at the MLB level, LMAO!!! I don't remember mentioning LL kids since I never coached LL, you effing dumbass. I was illustrating just how damn stupid your views are as to what is important regarding championship teams. I must have struck a nerve and reminded you that you never played on a team that ever won shit........if you actually ever put on a uniform and played at all. If some coach caused you to think that giving less than your best effort at all times is OK, the SOB wasn't fit to be coaching. Attacking me because you have nothing better to back up your asinine opinion is a prime example of a loser. I wasn't relating my coaching...which was with high school kids.......to the major league level. I was trying to point out to a dumbass like you that giving your best effort is important at ANY level. Dogging it on the field is NOT acceptable to anybody who knows anything about what it takes to win and be successful........Pollyanna. *You're* complaining about being attacked? Sorry, Snowflake. I'll leave you alone. I didn't think I was hurting your wittle feelings. And yes, I played until I could no longer swing a bat due to shoulder issues. I was even mentioned in the Chronicle a handful of times, numbnuts.

Well I think Brantley should be resting on the IL for a bit longer. I also think it wouldn't hurt for our infielders to get some more rest either. I don’t want any stars to play. I want to save their health for the postseason. Once we clinch the division I'd be totally fine with that. Until we clinch, however, we need enough to play so that we win half of our games. I want this team as healthy and prepared for the postseason as possible. Losing a star player or two at this point would be horrible.

Not complaining, Polly....just laughing at you for being so damn retarded as to attack me for expecting players to give 100% while you think it's OK to drag ass just because we have a 6.5 game lead. You haven't got what it takes to hurt my feelings, junior boy. I would not have read about you in the Chronicle or any other newspaper since I seldom read the comics.

I won't "attack" you anymore. I'll have big boy discussions with others. I think I heard a minority media host complain about a white athlete, go get 'em boy!

Corch 1, Saint 0 I always laugh when somebody mentions being in the newspaper LOL I used to be in them once in awhile and hated every bit of it, same with being on the TV sports. I never liked being on TV or in the newspapers.

Feel free to stay on the attack. Some comic relief is sometimes appropriate.

I'm not saying they shouldn't play hard. I'm just saying that there is no reason why they can't pump the brakes some as the season progresses and their lead is strong in order to try and rest and prevent further injuries. This is a team that shouldn't be satisfied with just making the postseason. They should expect to go deep in the playoffs. And if they get to the postseason hurt and exhausted, they won't go deep. We've seen what they can do when they get to the postseason regardless of how good they did in the regular season. I don't know if I agree with guys cooling their jets so they can be rested for the playoff games. But if that's Dustyball, they know what they're doing better than we do
