IMHO there is no manager out there I really want. With that being said, I do want to see Dusty retire after this season. He seems like a good guy but he is a subpar manager who makes bad decisions at times. I would just prefer to see him retire and promote Joe Espada as the next coach.

I do hope that we have universal agreement of canning Dusty if he has blown this series because of this McCullers move. Here is a few stats that I am not too thrilled about... McCullers lifetime record with 4 days rest 18-14 McCullers lifetime record with 5 days rest. 16-8 Day games record- 15-11 Night games record- 30-19 McCullers SplitsIf this doesn't work out Dusty... it's on you. |

Joe Espada is going to be a top candidate, and not just for the Astros. My question is why he wasn’t hired by another team yet. I am pretty sure he drew a lot of interest the past few seasons. However, I think he is still fairly new to coaching so there might be some hesitation from teams because of his lack of experience. He just started coaching in 2015. |
